Shared Risks & Rewards

As a member of a CSA, you take the same risks and rewards that we as farmers have lived with for centuries.  Lori & I strive to grow the finest vegetables in the area but mother nature does not always cooperate to her fullest.  Due to poor weather conditions or pests, our harvest could suffer and not be as productive as we would like OR it could thrive beyond our expectations.

We plant our crops throughout the season to take advantage of vegetables that grow best in the spring, summer and fall.  This provides variety of produce to our members and minimizes the risks to all.

Being part of a CSA helps the local economy, preserves farmland and provides you with fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables.  This saves fuel since the produce is not trucked in from across the country.
